The results of the Health Care Cost Analysis Task Force Report are out!!!
Join HCAC with our special guests T. R. Reid and Representative Emily Sirota.
In 2019 our Legislature passed HB 19-1176 with bipartisan support, and the Governor signed it, establishing the Health Care Cost Analysis Task Force. The Task Force submitted their report to the Legislature in September 2021. Task Force member, T. R. Reid, will speak about the Task Force report and its recommendation. Representative Emily Sirota, who sponsored the bill, will also speak. Please invite leaders and a few members of your groups to attend and learn next steps.

The Final Report modeled a publicly financed and privately delivered option that provides universal coverage against two other options and showed far better improvements than the others, including:
Billions of dollars saved over the current system Lower average individual costs Reduced ER utilization and associated costs Increased productivity and lost time from work Fewer medical bankruptcies Less financial hardship due to medical bills Increase in employment
