Health Care for All Colorado invites all health care activists to join us for a Health Care Day of Action at the Colorado State Capitol!

What’s Happening:

SB25-045, the Health Care Payment System Analysis Bill, has been introduced in the Senate. Join us for a critical day of advocacy to support the movement for universal healthcare and ask our legislators to vote YES on the bill at the upcoming hearing on January 30th.

Date: Monday, January 27, 2025
Time: 7:30-9:00 AM
Location: Old Supreme Court Chamber (OSCC) on the first floor
Agenda:

• 7:30 - 8:00 AM: Coffee, bagels, and learning about the bill at our informational tables
• 8:00 - 8:45 AM: Hear from bill sponsors and connect with other healthcare activists

Next Steps:

• Reach out to your Senator and State Representative and ask them to join you in the OSCC to learn more about SB25-045.
• If they can’t attend, request an appointment to meet with them in person at their Capitol office during the Healthcare Day of Action. Be flexible – some legislators may be in committee or on the floor before noon, so appointments might need to be scheduled after that.
• If your Senator is a member of the Senate Health and Human Services Committee, or if you know any of the committee members, ask them to vote YES on SB25-045 when it’s heard in committee on January 30th. We need 5 votes to get it out of committee!
