Representative Karen McCormick will provide insight into the demise of SB24-1075, and share strategy for how we can make Universal Single Payer Health Care possible in Colorado.

President of One Payer States, Chuck Pennacchio, has relocated to Washington, DC to loby for Single Payer Health Care. Chuck will bring us the latest news from The Hill and provide a national One Payer States update.

Find out what's going on in Oregon, where in 2019 SB770 created the Oregon Joint Task Force on Universal Health Care.  The Task Force recommended the creation of the Universal Health Plan Governance Board, which was subsequently created in 2023 by SB1089.  Warren George, a businessman and Vice Chair of the Oregon Universal Health Plan Governance Board, will discuss their progress towards universal health care.  Tom Sincic, MSN, FNP, former President of Health Care For All Oregon, will detail the vital role of engaging the community, organizing, and storytelling to create legislative pressure to pass Single Payer Health Care.
