Healing US - Documentary Movie Screening

Join HCAC, the Healing US Network, and our partners for an evening of healing and community at the Alamo Drafthouse Cinema Sloans Lake in Denver, CO. We will be screening the new documentary, Healing US, which explores the impact and trauma on individuals and communities from the fatal flaws of the United States' broken healthcare system. Healing US speaks directly to the American people, narrated from the viewpoint of Lady Liberty (voiced by Susan Sarandon) who pleads with her citizens to look to each other in times of great divisiveness.

Come help us celebrate our HCAC 2023 Legislature of the Year, Representative Andrew Boesenecker. Representative Boesenecker will be present to receive his award! Help us pack the theater to thank Rep. Boesenecker for his work on HB23-1209. He will run this bill next legislative session!

After the screening, we will have a live panel discussion/Q&A with the filmmakers led by internationally acclaimed journalist, T.R. Reid, "one of the nation's best-known reporters through his books and articles, his documentary films, his reporting for the Washington Post, and his light-hearted commentaries on NPR's Morning Edition," (www.trreid.net).
